Alloying tablets are made by compacting high purity metallic powders into a high density cylindrical shape. A range of alloying elements is available.The main element concentration is 75% or 80%. The balance consists of aluminium ora Na-free non-hygroscopic flux or a combi-nation thereof. Each tablet contains exactly1 kg (Titanium: 0.5 kg) alloying element.The tablets are wrapped in aluminium foil and packed in cartons on pallets.Alternatively they can be bulk packed in cardboard pallet boxes. Packaging in wood-en cases for additional protection during transport is optionalTo suit individual requirements on element concentration, aluminium/flux ratio andpreferred packaging the tablets are general-ly produced to order. Specific compositionand packaging is available upon request.Each pallet carries a label showing thebatch number and nominal tablet composi-tion. Pallets are strapped and foil wrappedto protect the product against moisture.
