We offer Cobalt Aluminate Blue Spinel, an inorganic pigment, is a reaction product of high temperature calcination in which Cobalt (II) Oxide, and Aluminum (III) Oxide in varying amounts are homogeneously and ionically interdiffused to form a crystalline matrix of spinel. Its composition may include any one or a combination of the modifiers Li2O, MgO, SiO2, TiO2, or ZnO.We also offer all other Ceramic Colours.

• Molecular Formula: CoO or Co₂O₃
• Molecular Weight: 74.93(CoO) or 165.88 (Co₂O₃)
• Facies: Celandine Green powder(CoO) or Grey black powder(Co₂O₃)
• Properties: when heated at 895 °C , Co₂O₃ will begin to turn into CoO and the proportion depends on the temperature and burning time
• Both CoO and Co₂O₃ is insoluble in water and alcohol
• Applications: mainly applied in manufacturing different cobalt salts, dyes and pottery and ceramic glaze
• A lso used as oxidizer and catalyst, stain and blinder in many industries such as glass, ceramic, magnetic material
